Rural Broadband & Community Network Projects

Bringing reliable internet to an underserved area takes more than equipment. It takes a network designed for the terrain, built to last, and practical to operate for years. sisulink works with communities, businesses, and project partners as the technical team behind broadband accessibility projects in northeastern Minnesota. We also run Northern Wireless, our own wireless internet service, so we know firsthand what it takes to build and operate a rural network, not just plan one.

What We Bring to a Project

We focus on the technical side of a project: making sure the network is planned right before money is spent on hardware.

•  Network design and architecture for the service area
•  Coverage analysis to see what wireless can reach, and where
•  Equipment selection matched to the terrain, distances, and budget
•  Equipment acquisition, so the right gear arrives when the project needs it

Common Questions

Can fixed wireless serve our area?

Often, yes. It depends on terrain, tree cover, and where equipment can be mounted. That's exactly what coverage analysis and early planning sort out.
